Amanda Murray, who took over the running of Audley End Miniature Railway eight years ago from her late father, Lord Baybrooke, said: “We are delighted that permission has been granted for the new adventure area and café expansion. This will enable us to offer an even more magical experience for our younger visitors and more of our local, delicious refreshments for our visiting families.”

Audley End Miniature Railway has also recently welcomed magical fairies and elves into the home of the ancient woodland that surrounds the attraction, with miniature homes dotted throughout where guests can discover on an enchanting walk.
