CHEERS ICE CREAM STORY
Former celebrity assistant, Lee Caulfield took one of the biggest gambles of his life when he ditched his job to follow a dream of his own.
In 2015 he and his two friends – David Hasselhoff’s nephew, Nick Corjon, and culinary wizard Charlie Kavanagh – came up with the idea of creating the UK’s first-ever exclusively alcoholic ice cream company that delivers a range of mouth-watering flavours.
If quitting their jobs to create the product wasn’t enough of a risk – with two of them waving goodbye to glamorous Hollywood stars and red carpet parties – they all delved deep into their life-savings to kick things off.
Cheers Luxury Alcoholic Ice Cream officially launched in October 2016 with their flagship stockists becoming Selfridges. Since then, Cheers can be purchased within London's West End theatres, stadiums/arenas across the UK including Etihad stadium in Manchester, Genting Arena in Birmingham, AmazonFresh and are in talks with the biggest supermarkets in the UK.
Their flavours include Mojito (8.4% ABV) which is actually the strongest alcoholic ice cream available in the UK, Toffee & Vodka (5% ABV), Strawberry Daiquiri (7.9% ABV) & Chocolate Espresso Martini (3.5% ABV) & Pornstar Martini (5% ABV)
