ZSL’s Creative Manager, and creator of Mini Keepers, Ruth Thomas says: “Mini Keepers is a fun, hands-on experience for young animal-lovers, giving them a real insight into the daily lives of our amazing zookeepers.
Free with zoo entry this Easter, the fun activities include weighing out the animals’ breakfast and create fun activities for them, alongside VIP access to our specially-recreated ‘keeper-only’ areas. We’re looking forward to welcoming families of all ages ‘behind-the-scenes at ZSL London Zoo!”
The London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo opening in 1828 and open to the public around the early 1847 and now boasts some of the world's most exciting wildlife.
Hosting over 650 species with exciting, large enclosures including Land of the Lions, Penguin Beach, Gorilla Kingdom, The Aquarium and Into Africa to name but a few.
The Zoo is managed under the ZSL (Zoological Society of London) which is an international conservation charity that work towards helping wildlife thrive across the world and bringing species back from the brink of extinction. ZSL looks after two zoos, ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, which is home to some of the larger animals.
