Cliffs Pavilion Aladdin
staring Ashley Banjo & Diversity
We know it is basically summer but it’s time to start planning what Christmas panto we are going to see!
Hot on the heels of 2017’s hit Jack and the Beanstalk, Southend’s Cliffs Pavilion has announced Essex dance group Diversity and Ashley Banjo as the stars of the theatre’s festive season offering the amazing Aladdin pantomine at the end of the year.
Cliffs Pavilion Aladdin will run from Friday 14th December 2018 to Saturday 5th January 2019. Since the announcement in February of Ashley Banjo and Diversity starring in this year’s performances, sales have soared to the point that a number of performances are practically sold out already!
Cliffs Pavilion Aladdin will feature Ashley and Diversity as the Genies of the Ring, the nimble-footed group charged with changing the fortune of Aladdin and helping him to outwit the evil Abanazar.
Diversity are a dance group from the East London / Essex area. They formed in 2007, and quickly went on to win the UK dance championships.
In 2009 they entered Britains Got Talent, and blew the judges away with their dynamic and creative dance moves. The public voted them their Britains Got Talent winners, and the group have now gone on to perform all over the world.
So make sure that you and your family have an adventure of a lifetime this Christmas with spectacular scenery, dazzling costumes, spellbinding special effects and lots of audience participation as this is a show guaranteed to entertain the whole family!
