THE BAUERs Venice is offering guests an amazing memorable weekend
The Bauers Venice is offering guests an amazing memorable weekend to enjoy the magic of Venice’s Carnival and attend the extravagant Mascheranda Ball!
On 26-27 February guests will be outfitted with a costume from renowned costume maker Nicolao Atelier and mask maker Tragicomica, so they are dressed in authentic and glamorous Venetian style to attend the Mascheranda Ball.
Guests will then retire to the hotel for a night of luxury in one of the hotel’s opulent deluxe rooms, overlooking Venice’s famous Grand Canal. The weekend will begin with a visit to the Nicolao Atelier, whose expert tailors have been creating the finest period costumes since 1980. Visitors to Nicolao Atelier will have endless fun looking at and trying on some of the more than 10,000 sets of underwear, accessories, headgear and capes, all on display in the beautiful showroom.
On Sunday, 27 February the Mascheranda Grand Ball will take place in the beautiful Palazzo Pisani Moretta. This year the party is a celebration of ‘Serenissima Venezia’, the evening begins with cocktails in the main hall and the first show of the night along with the opportunity to meet other guests. The glorious gala dinner will be held in ornately decorated rooms, their walls adorned with remarkable frescoes. During the dinner actors will perform “Commedia dell’Arte” sketches and dancers will escort Casanova.
The entertainment continues with more performances bringing to life the arts and stories of ancient Venice such as the Defile of Masks, the seduction of the Election of Casanova 2017 and the School of Ancient Dances with the Master of Ceremonies. ‘Serenissima’ comes alive as guests explore the Palazzo Pisani Moretta and get lost in the fantasy world created in every corner; la Cornice delle Meraviglie (the Frame of wonders), Le Boudoir ovvero I’incanto dei Sensi (Le Boudoir or charm of the senses), l’Angolo dell’Astrologia (the angle of astrology), la Bocca della Verita (the mouth of truth) and lo Specchio Vivente (the living room). The dance floor opens after the dinner and the partying continues until the early hours of morning.
The Bauers’ Masked Ball package starts from £1,550 including a deluxe room for two people, breakfast and two tickets to the Mascheranda ball. Costume hire from Nicolao Atelier starts from £380 per person and masks from Tragicomica are from £80.
