Opening the Henley Festival on Wednesday 10th July will be international superstar and Grammy award winner, Boy George. Having sold over 50 million albums and 100 million singles this is an event any music lover would be mad to miss.
Multi-platinum selling singer, Jessie J will be welcomed back to the Henley Festival on Thursday 11th July. Jessie's incredible vocal range and top selling hits make her one of the UK's top artists and had recently won Chinese TV show Singer becoming the first non-Chinese contestant to ever win the show.
Following will be Brit Award winner Tom Odell on Friday 12th July with such hits as 'Another Love' and legendary BBC DJ Jo Whiley. Saturday will see BJÖRN AGAIN take the stage will all your favourite Abba hits and Aled Jones and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will bring things home with Classic FM's popular Night at the Movies performance.
With Henley Festival's very own Jazz Club in the Spiegel Tent live jazz music will be played before the main acts each night and after to keep the party going. The BBC Music Introducing stage is also a must visit with some of the best up-and-coming acts from the region taking the stage.
The Bedouin Tent is home to some of the best global world music as well as the finest British folk. With such bands as De Fuego and Stables there is something for everyone's taste at Henley Festival.
The avocado show is launching a pop-up in Bluebird Chelsea's King’s Road cafe this March that is a must-see for any foodie in the capital.
Food is one of the biggest parts of Henley Festival with so much on offer from from restaurants and fine dining to pop-ups and street food from the Garden Bistro by Jimmy Garcia, Halloumi Guys, Jessecco Prosecco, Hotel Chocolat and the BBQ Club & Snob Lobster.
If that's not enough to get you salivating then Michelin starred chef, Angela Hartnett MBE will be returning to the festival serving up dishes from her bespoke menu that is created exclusively for the Henley Festival 2019.
Henley Festival also showcases some of the best art work from some of Britain's most talented artists. Sculpture artists Brendon Hesmondhalgh and Laura Jane Wylder will showcasing their exciting works whilst artist duo Mike Blow and Alison Ballard will bring their unique audio/visual installation, Colony to the festival backed by the British Arts Council.
Fireworks are a massive part of the Henley Festival with huge, jaw dropping displays each night designed by Titanium Fireworks. The team have previously provided some of the most spectacular displays over the last few years including London's New Years Eve display and the 2012 London Olympics.
Originally a classical music charity event the Henley Festival was established 37 years ago that is run as a charitable festival that supports charities at a local and national level.
This years Henley Festival will support the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust that helps young people that suffer from depression and The Teenage Wilderness Trust supporting students that find it difficult engaging with mainstream education by using outdoors activities to encourage students to get back into learning.
