Killing Eve Season Two Filmed Scenes In Essex
Hit BBC drama, Killing Eve will be back on our screens in June. But why has the stylish assassin Villanelle been spotted in Essex...?
Fans of the incredible drama Killing Eve do not have long to wait. The BBC has confirmed that season two will be on screens on Saturday 8th June 2019. The countdown is on…
In season one, we saw the assassin Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer) travel to a range of exciting locations across Europe, largely to commit murders. In the new season, she arrives in the unlikely location of Basildon no less! Rumour has it that she appears from the back of a car.
Killing Eve’s Executive Producer, Sally Woodward-Gentle joked in an interview: "The whole season's set in Basildon!" She added: "We do go to some other, lovely, exotic places. I think it’s fair to say in Europe, but Europe's so beautiful, and we are all part of Europe and it’s very important to show that."
In season one, Villanelle wore incredible costumes from exquisite organza ballgowns to cute denim shorts and chic summer dresses. But in the new season of Killing Eve, Villanelle is seen in kids pyjamas. Not just any old pyjamas - superhero pyjamas. We are intrigued.
