The untold story of Pimm's…
Mr James Pimm was a successful entrepreneur, owning multiple Oyster bars in the City of London. He rapidly built up a chain of restaurants in a variety of locations, including Gresham Street, Bishopsgate, Threadneedle Street and The Old Bailey; they were the places to be 'seen' for London businessmen of the day.
The story of Mr Pimm and oysters has rarely been talked about, but for the relaunch of the No.6 cup, Pimm's have partnered with famous London seafood bar, The Wright Brothers, to bring back the spirit of the brand in the environment it was first created in for the summer only.
No.6 Pimm's vodka cup went live on the menu on April 11th 2018, in Soho, Spitalfields and Battersea.
This Pimm's is best paired with either a premium citrus tonic, or a botanical tonic.
Once upon a time there were 6 versions in the Pimm's cup range, all with different spirit bases to the same herbal recipe. Now only No.1 and No.6 remain. So make the most of it this summer. You never know when if it will disappear for good!
