Normanhurst School is committed to providing a balanced and fulfilling learning experience in a secure and caring environment that nurtures academic, creative, sporting and personal skills.
Our goal is to encourage an appreciation of lifelong learning and a desire to participate in and contribute to the community so that pupils become fulfilled and responsible citizens.
Within an atmosphere of warmth, friendliness and openness and through our unique setting and traditional family approach we aim to ensure that every pupil is nurtured and encouraged to develop his or her full potential. We believe that all our children should experience equal opportunities through a broad education that aims for excellence.
Normanhurst School is a privately-owned independent day school for boys and girls. The school considers that every pupil has something to offer and values the contribution of each one, whether it is in academic excellence, artistic flair, musical ability, sporting prowess or community spirit. The aim is for every pupil to appreciate their value, both within the school and in the world beyond it.
Normanhurst is on a broad tree-lined suburban street with ample parking and is just opposite the British Rail and bus station, making it accessible for families from Chingford, Buckhurst Hill, Loughton, Chigwell, Waltham Abbey and mid-Essex, as well as Walthamstow, Enfield and Southgate.
