A focused academic education, with a wealth of opportunities to stretch each individual intellectually, creatively and physically and to support her as she develops into young adulthood – that’s what we offer your daughter at St Mary’s, Colchester!
Our school has a long tradition of educating girls aged four to 16, but we are always looking to the future and to the important roles our pupils will play in shaping their world. St Mary’s gives girls a solid foundation on which to build their adult lives and to identify and achieve their aspiration.
Parents and pupils should visit the school as often as they feel necessary to become familiar with the school and give their daughter the opportunity to feel comfortable. Prospective parents are advised to start the decision-making process at least two years before they wish their daughter to start at St Mary’s.
St Mary’s School for Girls is a happy, high-achieving independent school for girls aged three to 16 and boys aged three and four. In the friendly, warm community, each girl is known, valued and cared for as an individual. The school is on regular bus routes and is five minutes by taxi from Marks Tey station.
