We offer a valuable learning experience for boys and girls from the age of three months to 11 years and our children want to come to school every day because they feel valued and challenged.
Our aim is to challenge and inspire our children across all areas of the curriculum whilst equipping them to become valuable and caring citizens. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are an inclusive school which believes in competition. Our small classes ensure that the individual learning needs of our children can all be met, whilst our specialist teaching offers the opportunity to achieve excellence.
Our 30-acre site includes safe, off road parking for all of our parents, three ponds (used for pond dipping and wildlife watching) a nature trail, playing fields and a large indoor heated swimming pool (ideal for our triathlon training). Our beautiful grounds offer a landscape for the imagination where our children can learn to take risks in a secure and safe environment.
We also ensure that our children achieve places at the senior schools that are right for them, many of which are grammar and selective independent schools.

Woodlands School Hutton Manor is a co-educational day school for children aged three to 11, situated in a beautiful 30-acre site in the leafy suburb of Hutton, Brentwood. The school is very close to the popular commuter town of Shenfield with its fast train service into London Liverpool Street and Crossrail service (fully operational by 2019) creating a convenient train line right across the capital city. The school's beautiful green space is equipped with a wide range of excellent facilities, which include tennis courts, a heated indoor pool, well-thought-out playgrounds and a range of play equipment. The school also houses Little Acorns, a separate day nursery providing childcare for children aged three months to five years in a secure and nurturing environment, open from 7.30am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year. The nursery is set away from the main part of the school but benefits from access to the school grounds, including Woodlands School.
